An old friend returns and catches up with you in Athkatla.
This is an early release version. Given its a hobby, who knows if I'll finish it, in this version, when you find her, she asks to join your party. (She doesn't do much else, but she does use the bioware sound files.
The download site as at the Branwen Mod page on my bliki although the file server is http://www.davelevy.info.
These sites have kindly offered to mirror it.
This mod assumes the standard mod platform. BG2 SOA + TOB, Bioware Patch and Baldurdash. It has been written and tested on a TOB build. There is as yet no content for ToB.
You should obtain and install the latest official patch from www.bioware.com BEFORE installing other mods. If you have other mods already installed, uninstall them before applying the patch.
There are two installation methods; the mod is available as a .zip file or as a self installing package (.exe).
This was made from my BG2 directory, drag and drop the .zip archive to your BG2 directory (using windows explorer) and then unzip the archive. You will have a directory called ..\Pob and the two install files Setup-POB.exe and Setup-POB.tp2. Run the Setup-POB.exe. There is no language choice, it is English only, there is only one section to this install.
There was one at v 08, but I decided to package and post Leomar's german translation before I got round to making an .sfx It is not avaialble as part of the original davelevy.info hosted V0.9 package.
You can find Branwen in the Bridge district of Athkatla. She is hanging around near the temple of Helm. See also the Introduction above.
This version 0805d is not very developed, she's not very chatty and there is no opportunity to save any levels if you let her leave the party. Its something I intend to fix. Best not ask her to leave after she's joined. There's currently no romance, and so no romance conflicts.
I assume that she was in your party for BG1 and also that you played through TotSC, she's of an appropriate level and well equipped. (Actually I think the game's combat is hard enough and the other's will soon catch up, and if you want to have her join, nick her gear and chuck her out, then you could just as easily use shadowkeeper and get even better stuff. If that's how you play, please use shadowkeeper. )
I plan to implement a kit some time, but 'till then I've given her some inate abilities as well as her "Spiritual Hammer".
Her attributes and portrait remain as originally published by Bioware.
I don't know. I've had loads on my machine.
V 0.9 - German Language text, I suspect she still speaks english with a
Nordic accent
V 0.8.0.5d - First Public Release
Me, but see my thanks. Leomar and Cronox did the German translation for V 0.9
Whole modding community PPG & G3, inspired by the ambition of FW's Jason, Ghreyfein & G3's Camdawg. Thanks for Keto
