I am looking to move this wiki to a location within davelevy.info. Here are my notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n


In 2025, I had to move the deptford.red instance, I had to use SQL and documented my process at moving this wordpress url and domain<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, I said, I think I need to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Prove the proposed location is findable and not blocked by the master wordpress instance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Reset the URL parameters on the Settings – General Page<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. cpio the installation directory to the new location<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. test it works and there is no conflict with tags or date queries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. delete the old installation directory<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. make a .htaccess file<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. 5 & 6 could also be implemented by making a new directory with the .htaccess file and pointing the dns record to the new directory<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
