Here are my notes and links &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>I celebrated\/recorded the results in a blog article called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/davelevy.info\/labour-landslide\/\">Labour Landslide<\/a>&#8220;. The following year, I <a href=\"https:\/\/davelevy.info\/disappointing-and-dangerous\/\">commented on the local election results<\/a> which most would see as a Reform victory. See also, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diigo.com\/user\/davelevy?query=%23ge2024\">my diigo list tagged 2024<\/a>, which includes some articles about the French election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The definitive record of results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At the House of Commons Library, <a href=\"https:\/\/commonslibrary.parliament.uk\/research-briefings\/cbp-10009\/\">General election 2024 results<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/electionresults.parliament.uk\/general-elections\/6\/political-parties\">a page on the party results<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On the Politics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What yougov has to say, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/yougov.co.uk\/politics\/articles\/49978-how-britain-voted-in-the-2024-general-election\">How Britain voted in the 2024 General Election<\/a>&#8220;; I made <a href=\"https:\/\/davelevy.info\/wiki\/where-did-the-votes-come-from\/\">a page<\/a> specifically for the #sankey diagram. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/europe-poll-of-polls\/united-kingdom\/\">politico.eu UK Polls page<\/a>, shows a remarkable drop in Labour&#8217;s popularity during the campaign from 45% to 34%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/commonslibrary.parliament.uk\/research-briefings\/cbp-10009\/\">House of Commons Library<\/a><\/strong> results page, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/election\/2024\/uk\/results\">that of the BBC<\/a>. Also <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2024_United_Kingdom_general_election\">the wikipedia page on the GE 2024.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Announcing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/ministerial-appointments-july-2024\">the Government<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/07838770-06d0-4932-99f1-502d32aa311b\">the FT&#8217;s comments on the unexpected<\/a> appointments and demotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lewis Goodall, <a href=\"https:\/\/threadreaderapp.com\/thread\/1809105182560497742.html\">an awesome twitter thread<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tony Benn clips on<a href=\"https:\/\/threadreaderapp.com\/thread\/1807731042905891132.html\"> the political shape of the PLP<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Later in the year, Peter Kellner <a href=\"https:\/\/kellnerp.substack.com\/p\/exposed-the-truth-about-labours-red\">comments <\/a>on his substack.
