  2. A joint statement from Starmer\/VdL<\/a> published by the UK Government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The Commission’s version<\/a> of the meeting, inc. a video. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The Independent summarises <\/a>the post meeting press conference, “in a blow to the prime minister, the EU repeatedly pointed to Britain\u2019s existing arrangements with the bloc \u2013 Rishi Sunak\u2019s Windsor Framework and Boris Johnson\u2019s Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) \u2013 calling for the \u201cfull and faithful\u201d implementation of those deals. It could suggest there is little room for any major new agreements until existing plans are fully in place. Currently parts of the TCA are not in place, such as repeatedly delayed Brexit<\/a> checks on EU imports.” together with some parts of the withdrawal agreement such as the immigration\/right-to-remain issues and fishing it seems. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Reports by Euronews<\/a>, and Politico<\/a>, who may have the best summary, “Brexit talks are back \u2014 forever”. Not exactly what was wanted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    One piece of context for this is the FT’s article, “EU issues UK with list of demands if it wants better relationship<\/a>” (\u00a3|(-)). This relate to UK\/Ireland trade, and the rights of EU citizens with long term residency and Fishing (still).
