About boardgames and DnD again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The W40K stuff took me towards the Battle of Actium. I found two games on Board Game Geek, and added them to my collection<\/a>. One has probably gone, the other, Trireme <\/a>seems available on the market, although the rules seem quite complicated<\/a>. Here’s some model boats<\/a> if we can find simpler different rules<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While reviewing the book, Class Wargames, I wrote this, “While looking at the realism of the games, Barbrook summarises Clauswitz\u2019s essential components of good generalship as coup d\u2019oeil, psyching the enemy, concentrating forces, outflanking and hot pursuit.” I wonder if they work for ancient naval battles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I also found Final Decrees<\/a>, which would be fun to work out how to play.
