It makes sense, so I had a look at what she says\/said. Here some noted and links &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>I started by reading <a href=\"https:\/\/annpettifor.substack.com\/p\/hyperglobalisation-big-government\">Hyperglobalisation, Big Government &amp; Three Systemic Challenges<\/a> by Ann Pettifor on her substack. She sub-titles it, &#8220;Trump&#8217;s chaotic plans to build a new world order&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My hyper summary, &#8230; &#8220;It\u2019s exports \u2013 and income inequality!&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My annotations, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>That obsession with exports and the simultaneous neglect of living standards in the domestic economy is most conspicuous in China and Germany.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In economies like those of China and Europe&nbsp;<strong>surpluses&nbsp;<\/strong>have built up- but also&nbsp;<strong>deficits&nbsp;<\/strong>in \u2018consuming\u2019 economies like the US and Britain. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But here\u2019s the thing: the affluent don\u2019t spend all they earn. There are limits to the number of properties, fashion items, yachts and foreign holidays they can buy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As earned incomes have fallen as a share of economies worldwide, the majority lack the&nbsp;<em>purchasing power<\/em>&nbsp;to buy all that is produced by the export-oriented economy. For the last query, I was looking for declining Gini in G7, but I  might need to build one myself from some of the sources discovered by <a href=\"https:\/\/letmegooglethat.com\/?q=trading+economics+world+income+equality\">this query<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Govt policy, preferring exports to domestic consumption, distort the economy and divert income to the rich whom as we can see, do not spend it.
