This plan recommends building sufficient, secure, and sustainable AI infrastructure<\/span>, expanding the UK’s sovereign AI compute capacity by 20 times<\/span> by 2030, and creating AI Growth Zones<\/span> to accelerate data centre construction. It also calls for investing in AI skills and talent, reforming AI regulation to enable safe and trusted adoption, establishing a National Data Library<\/span> to increase access to data, and working with regulators to accelerate AI across priority sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
