ON the D&D beyond, I need to check the number of prepared spells, which AFAIK is WIS modifier + level + the domain spells, so 8+. The Assimar special abilities, healing and radiant consumption are defined by the proficiency level. The 5th level Cleric’s ability “Destroy Undead<\/a>” is not written into the character sheet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The next spells I want are, Sanctuary (1), Command (1), Hold Person (2), Lesser Restoration (2), Silence (2), & Beacon of Hope. I suppose, Protection from Good\/Evil should probably be there too. I should probably develop an “in town” prepared list. What I have is strongly healer and combat orientated and not so investigative\/exploratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On command, I asked google what command word would cause a flying creature to fall<\/a>. It seems that grovel is generally accepted as effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The D&D Beyond lists many spells twice in the spell list on the .pdf version of the character sheet. Google AI explains <\/a>this as caused by legacy spell commitments, error handling of multi classing or domain spells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I need to get on top of how to play the class, in combat,<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am playing in a high damage campaign. I need the healing and spiritual guardian’s range is too short, so I am not taking it. At the moment, I am saving the higher slots to upgrade cure wounds or guiding bolt which if cast at 3rd is as good as a fireball. Now I have third level spells, I am taking mass healing word rather than aid. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n I should check the channel divinity resource use; it might be useful in some combats. The amulet of the devout gives at least one free channel divinity<\/span>, which can be used to restore a spell slot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We are discussing Downtime<\/a>, maybe I should craft something, a Rod of Retribution<\/a>, Ioun Stones<\/a>, Ring of Protection<\/a> and the ring of spell storing<\/a> are probably beyond me at level 6; but seemingly not. The Wand of Magic Missiles is uncommon <\/em>as is the wand of the war mage (+1), the rare wands are quite powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I got a ring of spell storing<\/a><\/acronym>, and made a page\/snip about it. Getting this was not hard, but I don’t think we play with ‘complications’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Tome of Understanding is “Very Rare”. The Ioun Stone of Reserve which can hold up to three spells is “Rare”, the Stone of Insight (WIS +2) is also “Very Rare”. Ioun Stones require attunement. At the next downtime<\/em>, maybe I should look to find a Tome of Understanding, preferably before the level 8 feat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n D&D Beyond have a page on items for Clerics<\/a>. I found this list<\/a> of magical shields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I now have three attuned items. The Pearl of Power<\/a>, the Amulet of the Devout<\/a> and the ring of spell storing<\/a>.
