(See also <a href=\"https:\/\/davelevy.info\/wiki\/scripting_on_windows\/\">Scripting on Windows,<\/a> on this wiki.)<\/li>\n<li>I am not happy with the trimming of the ip address, which is displayed into the address variable using square brackets. Chris advises that &#8220;<span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">set daddress [string trim $address {[]} ]&#8221; <\/span>removes the brackets from the address and is obviously much neater and is character based.
