These are the rules as passed by #LAB25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meta<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I collect and mirror a number of resources related the Labour Party&#8217;s rules. It was first posted in Jan 2015 and it&#8217;s scope has been expanded. In the late winter of 2017\/18, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I introduced sub-headings to, I hope, make its use easier.\u00a0 It deals with the Rules, Selections and Triggers, the Social Media Code of Conduct,\u00a0 Data Protection, London Region Rules, the Collins Review, Standing Orders i.e. meeting procedure and the local LCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Current Rules | <a href=\".\/#selections\">2022 Selections &amp; Triggers<\/a> | <a href=\".\/#meetings\">Meetings<\/a> | <a href=\".\/#complaints\">Complaints &amp; Codes<\/a> | <a href=\".\/#misc\">Misc.<\/a> |&nbsp; <a href=\".\/#local\">Local Govt<\/a> | <a href=\".\/#oldstuff\">Archives<\/a><br><a name=\"others\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Documents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2022 Rules<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022,&nbsp; they issued two versions, the second version is here as <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1gO8V7pzWZ9fE-wUxLVItpVWFsyq9zZ9s\/view?usp=sharing\">my mirror<\/a>, and also t<a href=\"https:\/\/labour.org.uk\/rulebook\">he LP link<\/a>. The first version was issued relatively early in the year i.e. 2022, it also is available <a title=\"Labour's 2022 rule book\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1G2XESQx2YNRFLzs7z6IeUYvWuCJL8-Id\/view?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>. I have used <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.pdf24.org\/en\/compare-pdf\">pdf24<\/a> to do&nbsp; diff in the files. and then used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diffchecker.com\/pdf-diff\/\">diffchecker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have different page sizes, which causes some page boundary changes, they had failed to renumber the appendices and have lost an appendix 8 and have now renumbered so version1, app 9 becomes version 2 app 8. Also a number of the equality branches rules give them permission to modify some rules i.e. those pertaining to their own governance;&nbsp; these now have an explicit cross reference to the rules they can change. <a name=\"selections\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2022 Trigger Ballots &amp; Selections<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1G4uLWZ2gEggvBSelS9nJpVeYNOAj13iQ\/view?usp=sharing\">advice<\/a> has been given on running the 2022 trigger ballots. Here are <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1kHn4lwDKgsT4iOIY4J9Mm6lpSvKuXAHx\/view?usp=sharing\">Rules for seats with a vacancy<\/a> , for <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/168942oQ1wShSD1H1d3cP4dYBjxmqjuYX\/view?usp=share_link\">seats without a vacancy i.e. Labour held seats<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1kLJQR33KtMn7N71Rf3GkVAjbveS2u29o\/view?usp=sharing\">Code of Conduct<\/a>&nbsp;which governs acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.<br><a name=\"meetings\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guidance for conduct of AGM<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Issued in 2021, while under lockdown, some useful advice and at least one stitch up, <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1pJZivo0avnldQDVsDgucibnErXKwTXNx\/view?usp=sharing\">CLP AGM Guide Online v2<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guidance for Online Meetings (2020)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>These were issued during the national lockdown in 2020. Advice and rules in running online decision making meetings.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/15Qz0lW3B1E4TDaQJ_s0N2i5CmMAKhc6a\/view?usp=sharing\">Online meetings guidance Local government selections NEC nomination meeting &#8230; .pdf &#8230;v4<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1YMxEtEQ1hUPWEN-EFMcAPDwMQgtw0EQ1\/view?usp=sharing\">or v2<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Standing Orders<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There is huge demand for the rules about the conduct of meetings; these are now held in Chapter 16 , I made <a title=\"Chapter 16, 2022 Meeting Standing Orders\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16AeOKjfDehJfCBn5VgJfngRRnQm3x_cw\/view?usp=share_link\">a copy<\/a>. of Chapter 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210725064400\/https:\/\/davelevy.info\/wiki\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/LP-Rules-2014-Meetings-Ch-15.pdf\">an old copy, LP Rules&nbsp;2014 Meetings, Ch 15<\/a>, as it says based on the 2014 version of the rules but I don&#8217;t think they&#8217;ve changed since then. Extracting Chapter 15 from the rules is not easy, I expect I&#8217;ll do it again some time. These are pre DPA 2018.
