There are plans to redevelop the area between Giffin Street and Reginald Road in Deptford. They have now received a planning permission application.<\/p>\n

  3. What I wanted to say is here…<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What I actually said is,<\/p>\n

    I am a resident of 12, Hales St. (PLB)<\/p>\n

    1. The western boundary of the proposed buildings represent a loss of sunlight to those people in the PLB with east facing windows due to their proximity and height.<\/p>\n

    2. The access to the PLB trade and fire entrance would seem to be diminished.<\/p>\n

    3. It would seem that it is proposed to remove the tree at the South East corner of the PLB. This is a loss of amenity<\/p>\n

    4. It would seem that the car park, which can be used by visitors to PLB is to be redeveloped with no replacement. This represents a loss of amenity to local residents.<\/p>\n

    5. It would seem that the same car park which contains 4 electric recharging stations is to be redeveloped with no replacements. This represents a loss of amenity to local residents.<\/p>\n

    6. The proposed \u201cpark\u201d replacement for the Tidemill Gardens are to be enclosed by buildings within the development, this represents a loss of amenity to the community at large.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    This misses the fact that I consider the loss of amenity to No 1, Hales Street to be devastating, that I support the development and that all the objections can be met through replanning, but Leiwisham constrain public comment to 1000 characters.<\/p>\n

    This was circulated, \u00a0a guide to objection<\/a> to me later in the day, bother, better language but it still goes to show that 1000 characters is not enough. They suggest that, the policies that might be breached include,<\/p>\n

    3. PARKING PROVISION<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n

    5. ENVIRONMENT – CLIMATE CHANGE, BIO-DIVERSITY AND AIR QUALITY<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. CLEAN AIR LONDON<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
    7. FLOOD RISK<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
    8. ACCESS TO GREEN SPACES<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
