Made in 2012 and tagged as deprecated in 2023<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I found <a title=\"windows 7 sleep problem at mstechnet\" href=\"http:\/\/social.technet.microsoft.com\/Forums\/en-US\/w7itprogeneral\/thread\/8c9b45d9-fd46-451c-bea9-db8846643763\/\">this post on MS Technet<\/a> and have applied the advice to the WIFI adaptor. I found it using <a title=\"search: hp probook windows 7 sleep\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/search?q=hp+probook+windows+7+sleep&amp;rlz=1C1CHFX_en-GBGB445GB445&amp;oq=hp+probook+windows+7+sleep&amp;aqs=chrome.0.57j64.7738&amp;sugexp=chrome,mod=15&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\">this google query<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I have tested it using the [fn] and [moon] button and it seems to work fine. I need to test it over a longer period but it may be safe to reconfigure the power management config to &#8220;Sleep on Lid Close&#8221; which should make using the laptop on a train commute feasible.<\/p>\n<p>My laptop is an HP Probook 5320m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As shipped the HP Probook can take too long to wake from &#8220;Sleep&#8221;.
