The facts aren’t easy to \u00a0find, and the graphing technique isn’t easy either, given the income distribution range and the geographic income and house pricing diversity.<\/p>\n
I used a google search on\u00a0housing costs as a proportion of income trend<\/a>, which finds nothing obvious on the first page. I have also checked out the ONS site, and their Housing and Households<\/a> page which has House Prices Report, on further inspection on the data tab \u00a0there is a Housing Prices report which has \u00a0historical data and table 28 may be what I need. ONS refers to DCLG<\/p>\n I also moved onto the FRS<\/acronym> which is now at the DWP<\/acronym> site<\/a>.<\/p>\n Researching demand, I ran a google search on “london is the world’s top city for multi-millionaires”<\/a>, I was looking for a sepcific City AM<\/strong> article, which I found, it seems the article was based on a report by a London Consultancy called Wealthinsight and was probably handled better at the Guardian where they have widget on their datablog<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Trying to build a time series showing cost of housing as a proportion of income.
