Here are my notes.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to my researches, and sourced from the Bank of England, the UK Govt. Foreign Debt holdings is about $22 bn. Source BoE pqqlaau.<\/p>\n<p>The <acronym title=\"\">UK GDP is \u00a32,320 bn<\/acronym>, the public sector debt in foreign currency is under 1% of the GDP.<\/p>\n<p>ONS reports total foreign debt at \u00a36.6 trillion, really, check this!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ons.gov.uk\/economy\/nationalaccounts\/balanceofpayments\">The Balance of payments\u00a0 at the ONS<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Economy_of_the_United_Kingdom\">UK economy<\/a> at Wikipedia<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The UK Balance of Trade has been running a deficit for decades and the UK imports 48% of its food.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"k0Cm9dazyP\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodsecurity.ac.uk\/challenge\/your-food-is-global\/\">Your food is global<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Your food is global&#8221; &#8212; Global Food Security\" src=\"https:\/\/www.foodsecurity.ac.uk\/challenge\/your-food-is-global\/embed\/#?secret=k0Cm9dazyP\" data-secret=\"k0Cm9dazyP\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The BoT on Energy is no longer in surplus,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/statistics\/dukes-foreign-trade-statistics\">UK Gov &#8220;Energy Trade Stats&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>How much of the UK Gilt market is foreign owned? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmo.gov.uk\/data\/gilt-market\/\">https:\/\/www.dmo.gov.uk\/data\/gilt-market\/<\/a> would seem to apply. Is it really 28%? What is the unit of measurement? This consists of reciprocal loans of stocks of currency. i.e. there is a promise to return the monies.
