There are problems with dates and time period sync. and FX conversions. The QE number is ~ 45% of GDP.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/indicator\/NV.IND.MANF.ZS?locations=GB\">Manufacturing as a proportion of GDP<\/a>, from the world bank, fallen from ~16.5% in 1990, to ~8\u00bd% in 2020, here&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/indicator\/NV.IND.MANF.ZS?locations=DE\">Germany<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/indicator\/NV.IND.MANF.ZS?locations=US\">US<\/a>, both of which also show big declines. Where&#8217;s the world&#8217;s R&amp;D?
