Here are my notes\/log.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About my Garden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Shall I <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rhs.org.uk\/fruit\/citrus\/grow-your-own\">try<\/a> Lemons or Limes? And <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/iOkhRQozGcM\">coriander<\/a>?&nbsp; Which says you need the roots,&nbsp; which are usually removed for shop sales; obvious really. Sutton&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suttons.co.uk\/vegetable-fruit-plants\/all-fruits\/citrus-plant-lime_MH-2072\">sell<\/a> the citrus bushes. Citrus? No! It won&#8217;t like my flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2023<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Basil from the shop, Mint in pots (and from the shop), the peppers died after a holiday when the weren&#8217;t watered but no-one to blame this time. Here is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandycanudigit.com\/2020\/08\/24\/why-do-indoor-tomatoes-not-set-flowers-or-fruit\/\">a list of the possible causes<\/a>, I vote for compost quality and possible poor pruning strategies. Here&#8217;s more on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Prune-Patio-Tomatoes\">how to prune the tomatoes.<\/a>&nbsp;and here&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/q4IUhZMA9O0\">a video on the same topic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I have some Basil in, and just bought myself a kentia palm. Let&#8217;s see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardeningknowhow.com\/houseplants\/kentia-palm\/howea-forsteriana-kentia-palm.htm\">if I can look after it<\/a> this time. Maybe make some space with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?channel=fs&amp;q=indoor+vertical+garden\">an indoor vertical garden<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Basil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Basil, How To Grow More Than You Can Eat\" width=\"1099\" height=\"618\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/byoEBdVoVpM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And <a title=\"A video on pruning it, there's a wrong way.\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/gnxXtPmzkU8\">pruning<\/a> it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wouldn&#8217;t it be great?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2020<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This going to be tricky as I am on lockdown but here&#8217;s two thoughts; let&#8217;s have another go at avocado, and garlic. My experiments with avocado have not worked well, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houzz.com\/discussions\/1571883\/avocado-pit-problems\">this article<\/a> claims some insight. Garlic worked well last time I tried it and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/WWbe4mkyltA\">this video<\/a> suggests it&#8217;ll work&nbsp; indoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I planted some potatoes. I have kept the potted Basil alive for a month or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;d like to try Ginger, but <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/TIN-zInZcrs\">this<\/a> suggests that both temperature and light will be a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I might like some lighting although friends suggest opening the curtains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2019<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried a window box of tomatoes which sadly didn&#8217;t work. Actually, it wasn&#8217;t very successful, the coriander, from seed,&nbsp; &amp; cornflower&#8217;s both failed, although the latter is not really an indoor plant. Although I bought two agapanthus plants.
