Hustings

The Labour Party are running three hustings meetings in September for you to hear from the five candidates to become Labour’s candidate for Mayor of Lewisham. Attendees will hear from each of the candidates in turn telling you why they should be your preferred candidate followed by a Q&A session.

The meetings will be held with one in each of the three Lewisham constituencies. These are private events for eligible members only so please ensure you bring some ID as membership checks may be done on the door. Eligible members means those with sufficient, paid up membership longevity and living & registered to vote in the Constituency as at some time in July. (The Labour Party has a list, and if your on it, your OK, otherwise not!)

You do not need to register to attend but it will help us to prepare if you click on the link of the event you intend to attend and RSVP.

Please note that although you are welcome at any of the hustings, to ensure everyone can attend, please try to only attend the event closest to you.

You will not be able to vote at the meeting – votes must be sent through the post and you will receive your ballot paper at the start of September.
