John Trickett MP writes about the revolving door between business, politics and the media, arguing the advisory committee reviewing moves from politics to business is failing. He’s right! What he misses as do the comments, is that the promise of jobs, or well paid non-jobs is more corrupt.
Revolving Door
He does point out that the two year embargo of civil servants and politicians taking jobs in areas where they had had decision making authority has now gone and that two years doesn’t effect opposition MPs. (It’s a bit tricky really.)
The two year embargo wouldn’t impact opposition MPs, or doesn’t seem to now that we take multiple terms to change the colour of a government.
