Trip to London to see “Sunny Afternoon”, the story of the Kinks, at least their early days, sadly no “Come Dancing”, nor “Schoolboys in Disgrace”, both too late for the story; but I saw “Schoolboys in Disgrace” live in 1976.

I finished the day, watching a US Bio pic on the Kinks, which showed that despite the inspiration for “Come Dancing” being in Ray’s youth the song is strictly speaking not a Kinks song, but that the story behind Schoolboys in Disgrace is part of the Kinks story.
