Originally posted as three articles on my sun/oracle blog, I went to Greece on holiday, and had an exciting journey through Gatwick on my way out as BAA responded to the heightened security threats, I shared my reading, Benkler’s “Wealth of Networks and Younge’s “Stranger in a strange land” and got home safely.
I have not finished Benkler yet and I’ll need to re-read several parts of it, however it covers the economics of the internet and information and the social and process architecture of information production. Economics has obviously come on a lot since I studied it at University, a fact I was reminded of two years ago, when I visited my alma-mater, the University of Exeter’s library and looked up my finals papers. Some questions I could no longer understand (did I then? 😮 ) and some are now irrelevant.
Created with flickr slideshow.
I was more restrained using the camera than when travelling alone, and so the picture show should be a bit shorter than some.
