I don’t know Ireland well enough. Perhaps I should visit Dublin.
What to do there?
- A blog by “explorewithalec.com” , they document nine items from a blog, and one by “globaltravellers” and one by “bridges and ballons”. Most people recommend the Guiness Store and Whiskey library which don’t seem that attractive to me.
- Art Galleries, from visit Dublin
- Memories of the War of Independence by google, which includes the GPO Museum
- Not to forget “free walking tours”, from visit Dublin, mustn’t forget the parks or a walk along the banks of the LIffy
- Things to do by Trip Advisor, a lot about booze and boozing, and here’s a tour they put together via their AI.
Hotels
It seems quite cheap in November, might be able to go one better than normal. Check on Expedia and Google when I have some dates fixed; the reality is that I am unlikely to do this soon.
Getting there
Either fly from LHR or City, or use the train & ferry, which can be bought by trainline, or maybe out by train and back by plane.
