San Francisco

San Francisco

I have worked for Californian based companies twice, and visited San Francisco a number of times. Sun Microsystems moved its training conference from San Francisco to Las Vegas and so my time in San Francisco became limited to the airport. I can’t remember when and why I stuck this page up, nor why Fodors was quoted so extensively. Later visits to Norcal were centred around Sun’s, now Facebook’s HQ in Menlo Park; I stayed in Palo Alto, usually at the Sheraton, which was in spitting distance of the train station, which I came to use if travelling alone.

Shadow of Udrentide

Shadow of Udrentide

I got this for Xmas in 2006. The last comments made prior to copying from the orginal bliki was in July 2009. It makes reference to Bioware community resources, which have since gone away. This is the second add-on to the Official Campaign; it is followed by a game called Hordes of the Underdark. See NWN – Some Modules, and look for HoU Crossover. This is the start of a three part story which ends at Hordes of the Underdark, so start a new character to see what happens in the 17+ levels.

Snipsnap

Snipsnap

Snipsnap was a blog/wiki written in Java. I used it from 2006 until 2013. This page acted as a source code archive with one utility and my Linux management tools. Most of what one might need is now available on github; it remains as host for HTMLMacro.jar.

Perils of Branwen, a BG2 mod

Perils of Branwen, a BG2 mod

This is the author’s home page for the BG2 mod, “The Perils of Branwen”.  I think I started it in 2003. Two people have made translations for which I am grateful. I have no plans to enhance or finish the mod. If anyone else wants to develop using it, then fine. (It might even be useful as a template.) This page documents the context, gives you a hint as to where you’ll find her and talks about the playability and characterisation. See the Download Page for the mod files and downloads.
