There’s a lot of stuff claiming that W11 is bloated and the bloat impacts performance. I decided to experiment and here are my notes.
On the systems I have chosen to slim down, I use https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat/wiki to uninstall those programs, applications and services I no longer require. (I have used another, but it was less transparent and quite rough with the registry. Gemini describes the process and points at alternatives.
This leaves the so-called Telemetry, which involves un-setting some switches and stopping/disabling a service i.e. Connected User Experience and Telemetry. For Google Gemini https://gemini.google.com/share/bc85ad270803 on the Settings switches. For the service, use services.msc. Unfortunately, these may be “rectified” by some windows updates.

I looked at programming this, with help from Chatgpt, here are some code offerings, developed in the opposite order.
