Mike Masnik of Techdirt points me at Sarah Perez’s article on a social media world without Caesars. , reporting on the founding AT Protocol conference, which is definitely not a Bluesky conference.
I wonder if the persistent pushing of Bluesky over Mastodon has anything to do with the fact that AT Protocol is US owned while Mastodon is a W3C standard, forkable but curated in Europe. (Is this still true?)
