Can we do better? I have looked at membership management and recorded it on this article, but I consider that if we want other services that a common single user list would be best and given my history it has to be LDAP.

More wordpress voting plugins

I have been using Vote it up on my blog for a couple of years, although no-one else has, I think I received one vote that wasn’t me and they also commented. I noticed during the Autumn of 2014 that it seemed a bit broken. So I had a little look and decided to replace it.

Custom WordPress Plugins

It seems that the wordpress plugin page lists those plugins held in the ./wp-content/plugins folder.

The article, What, Why, and How-To’s of Creating a Site-Specific WordPress Plugin shows how to create a container. They advise that it is located in its own directory. Doing this creates an entry in a the Plugins, installed plugins page on the dashboard.
