I made an aggregation of the NEC blogs I could find, it’s not finished as I need to install some margins, make it responsive and possibly reposition the meta panels. I looked at my snip, Planet (Venus) themes (CSS) and revised it slightly, otherwise here are my notes. …

One of my favourite WordPress themes is the ultra clean minnow theme, it has not been updated for a while but its wordpress codex page is here, and I have made a copy of my theme directory. To see a thumbnail, see below/overleaf …

I have implemented the Nulis theme on the wiki, which is apparent if you visit the site using a desktop or other large screen device. It still uses wptouch for smaller screens. I have turned off wptouch for this theme. It seems good for my android systems. The rest of this article talks about anchor tags, the header image and additional toolbar buttons. Read More

I have decided to use Zbench as my theme for the my revised blog, for which I have a wiki article, called davelevy.info v4
See also WordPress themes at davelevy.info, which deals with the header.php, front pages, read more and category and tag lists.
The two initial problems I have are using the heading tags, and their code style.
I also would like to have the pages having individual comment closure dates, so that I can create an always open guest book, which i believe is possible on this wiki.
I need to check out Child Themes. This will make preserving customisations much easier.
I use Sam Ruby’s Planet Venus. The package comes with two themes, I have always rather liked the ‘Fancy’ theme. This article was finished in May 2011, and talks about the css required to amend a planet output page in HTML/CSS. It was written for my planet G3 feed which was a G3 RSS repeater. It may just be a useful source for those who wish to create new themes. (I shall be doing this in March/April 2015 as I develop the refresh of davelevy.info.) Read More
This was copied across from the snipsnap bliki on 26th July. It’s all a bit redundant now, but it might be useful for others. This was a pagfe that documented my work in building the configuration and in some places represented a work in progress. In some cases, the resolution is not documented and in others I failed to resolve it. I eventually gave up on snipsnap. Hope this page helps someone! Read More
