On coming home from Campaign Day’s Hacker day, I set myself a few tasks. If I am to continue with the small lottery system, and even if seeking to improve the NH’s donation inspector, it might be best to implement them as a python web app, if only because I can use pickle to avoid using an sql database. I choose python and not javascript because of my skill levels. There’s lots of stuff to pick up though. As usual some notes and links …

Here’s what I have written about Python before and here is a LMGTFY query on how to build a python web app. I have a snip on google app engine, but the snip is out of date, if I go there, I’ll need to start again.

On 23rd March I was pointed at Flask, a Python module that lets you develop web applications easily.

Maybe I’ll finish my ello port, or the html translator first.
