NWN Stability

When playing NWN, I have had some serious stability problems while playing using my XP platforms. This article was written in Nov 2008 and is probably pretty redundant.

Jaheira

Jaheira

In Baldur’s Gate 2, there are specific quests related to the interaction between you (the protagonist) and certain individual party members. One of the candidates as an object of your affection is Jaheira, who you first met in part one, Baldur’s Gate. This part of the game is very buggy and I collected the advice on how to fix the game in this FAQ. It was originally written in April 2002. It’s mainly about fixing, patching and poking the game, although it contains a couple of hints. The links section is going to be pretty broken by now. DFL 2014

This page has several sections; Lennon’s Hints, Poking the Game, Q & A, I’m in a hurry aka Read me first, Some Links, Background and playing hints.

Sony K610i

Sony K610i

I have replaced my V600i mobile phone with a K610i from Vodafone. For some reason they wouldn’t buy me a red one. Here’s what I did with it.

Norton Anti-Virus

For various reasons, I use Norton AV, now owned and distributed by Symantec. This was first written in 2008, and a year later I moved to Citihub where other anti-virus products were in use. I stopped using it about then. I have marked this page as deprecated.

Madrid

Madrid

I have set up a google map called About Madrid, and I visited it in order to attend a NESSI Steering Committee in January 2008. This is the first time this century that I have been here, my previous visit was in the 1980’s. My few pictures are on flickr. I returned in Oct 2008, and populated the maps with some more landmarks. I’d like to return sometime without a business agenda. Here are my pictures!

Mecklenburg-Lower Pomerania

Mecklenburg-Lower Pomerania

I hope to travel on a holiday along the German Baltic coast sometime. I shall use my trusty ‘Rough Guide to Germany’ as my first and last reference book. Originally written in 2008, and still not done in 2018, but there’s still time, although I have got rid of the Rough Guide as it was out of date by then.

Diablo

Diablo

This article was originally posted in Sep 2008, I said, “Only marginally an FRPG, more a hack & slash.”, but the bulk of this article is/was about how to play multi player and the home network hacks needed to make it work.

External Disk on an XP system

External Disk on an XP system

This article was originally written in 2008, and was copied to this wiki in June 2013. It covers both moving XP windows directories from the internal local drive to the external disk, and some wish scripting to check the disk was on and remind people to turn it on if not already done. This article talks about the disk, filesystems, transferring the data, and writing some tcl/tk scripts including an motd to manage the remote “My Documents” folder. I changed the title from “External Disk on the Dell” since I had re-purposed the disk by 2013. This is now deprecated.

Also see my Add This page. This was the name in the bliki, but I used both share and add this in the side bar.
